This project began as a small repair job following a leak, but soon turned into a full-scale renovation as the clients got to know and trust our in-house team. This picturesque four-bedroom detached home in Shropshire has now become our client's dream home following extensive renovations.
The cottage received a newly shingled roof and essential infrastructural improvements such as re-plumbing, electrical rewiring, and re-plastering. The Scope of Works also included decorating and an updated interior design scheme to breathe new life into every room. The external stonework was re-pointed, the original wooden beams were carefully restored, and modern bi-fold doors and strategically placed Velux windows were added.
Alongside a new kitchen, utility room, and bathrooms, a bespoke private library was also crafted complete with custom cabinetry. Underfoot, new flooring was laid, featuring an underfloor heating system. Green energy solutions like solar panels were installed, and the exterior received a facelift with new rendering and an inviting Indian stone patio. The home's security was also improved with a sophisticated alarm and CCTV network.
We are now progressing on Phase II of this project, which is the construction of the Stables and Pool House.
