Our clients are all different and every project we embark on is unique and bespoke to their needs, objectives and circumstances. Some clients are very busy and prefer us to take care of everything while others like to call in our expertise at a certain stage in their home transformation project. We are happy with either approach. If you are not sure what is right for you, read on for more details or talk through each option with us on the phone.
We have a start-to-finish design and construction service that brings your vision and purpose for a better home to life. The clue is in the name. We manage the architectural design, construction and interior design phases of your project. As part of this service, we collaborate with you and will act on your behalf regarding project processes, schedules, milestone setting and budget management.
Using a turnkey service means you don’t have to worry about details or finding tradespeople or materials. That’s our job. This approach takes the weight off your shoulders if you are a nervous or first-time renovator, time-starved due to work or family commitments or want to stay on track for a specific deadline. We take care of the day-to-day running of your project to ensure it is completed to schedule, on budget and to a high standard.
Essentially, the burden of overseeing the whole project is taken away from you. You will also benefit from one point of contact and a personable in-house team of architects, designers and trades who know everything about your project. More of our clients are opting for a turnkey service as life becomes busier, space becomes sparser and materials increase in price.
Appointing different suppliers at various stages of a project has been the traditional approach for many years.
We welcome part project commissions if clients prefer to integrate our architectural, construction, landscaping or interior design services with other contractors. In this instance, you, the client, become the Project Manager, meaning you are in control dictating the project process, instructing contractors on the what’s, when’s and how’s of your project and managing day-to-day work schedules.
Our single service approach will suit you if you are an experienced renovator and enjoy project management. Both approaches give you control of your project. The main difference between a turnkey solution and our single service approach lies in how your project is managed. There is no right or wrong approach. Only what suits your experience, personality and lifestyle.
In our experience, successful projects rely on open communication where the initial step is for us to have an initial conversation about your project. Once we understand your objectives, we’ll meet you on-site to view buildings, see the space and meet you in person. Once we have all the information we need, we create an outline for the scope of work with an indication of costs for a turnkey or a single service approach. If agreed, we will formally welcome you as a client and start our onboarding process.
